Any of us oldies in Dallas area in the 50's recall the Big D Jamboree. The old bus is being restored in Burleson, Texas. It was purchased by Asleep At The Wheel. They plan to tour in it when finished. Note the Elvis poster still hanging in a window.

Thanks, Bigtex. My wife and I are also from Arlington. Remember the celebration when it hit pop of 50,000. Now 350,000+ and using the same roads we had then. Hey 303 used to have 70mph speed limit.

Don't forget the ORVIS radar traps along 303.....speed up then quickly slow down for the trap, then speed back up again.....great fun!!!
