Beautifully done, both the car and the photos.
I don't think it is quite factory restoration; the grill looks different, I don't think those ornaments were on the '54 maybe '55 or so. I don't think it came from the factory with lake pipes or a continental kit, funny thing, I don't remember them being that low to the ground either; other then that I think it's factory.
Good looking Chevy and good looking shots of it

Thanks for viewing and for commenting. The car is a mild custom. The head light bezels are from a Cadillac, The stone guards on the rear lower quarters are from a Pontiac, The grill insert is custom made by owner, also the trim piece just below the quarter window is from a Pontiac. The engine is a stove bolt chevrolet six, with an Offe dual carb manifold and there is a split exhaust manifold for that destinctive sound!😎

Fond memories. Mine was a blue 210 with some rust spots and only 4 years old when I bought it for $300.

Wow !!! beautiful. I had a black & white 56 Chevy. But I think 1955 was the first year of the "wrap-around" windshield. Also 1955 was a radical body style change. Then again in 1958 - first year of the double headlights if my memory is correct. ~FiddleMaker

Nice to see you back, Sue. Yes I agree with you and thank you for viewing. There has been alot of discussion on this very subject. In Hemmings Muscle Car Magazine the question was asked, "will the new cars of today be as collectable as the cars from past ending with the 60s and early 70s?" Only time will tell. My best friend growing up had a 59 Impala while we were in high school. It was a beautiful car that was painted Cameo White, and had a big 348 cubic inch engine with tri power, (three two barrel carburators) right from the factory.
