.... or sometimes, you just need to sit alone to catch the dying rays of the sun ..
Great model, awesome lighting, looks like a renaissance painting.

I would add, the composition and the pose fantastic!! However! I downloaded and used Topaz deNoise and then Clarity to depress the red and orange saturation. Ended up with a softer effect and if you wanted grain.. then add grain... this looks like general noise grain looks different.
Again really really great photo...just needs a little post.
Regardless, I like it as you made it. Great photo

One of the few I consider "art"! Thank you.
First photograph I've wanted to respond to.... excellent. I would be very proud to have such vision and display it so well.
Composition and pose are superb.
Would like to see it after edits suggested by dpullum.
Agree that the photo is great "art."
Thanks for sharing!
Nice--I like the mood you've created.

I have several quibbles on this shot regarding the pose and the processing.
On the pose aspect, the far side of her body at the chest, upper thigh and shin-to-foot are very "parallel" to the near side of her body, so much so that they look like heavy blur or ghosting of the near side. A small shift in angle to either hide the far side of the body completely or to make it slightly more visible would have helped.
On the processing there are several artifacts that detract from the image. Below/behind her calf is a dark line that parallels her calf, and it is not a shadow. There is another contrast processing artifact of a halo-like lightness that separates her hair from the background. Further, a dark shadow-like blur over the background follows her body contour from shin to chin; at first glance it looks like it could be a true lighting shadow, but then where is the shadow of her head against the door? It also just does not match other aspects of the illumination. Finally, I don't like the graininess/fuzziness of her body when compared to the fine detail of the window bits.
I think different post-processing, perhaps as suggested by dpullum, would turn this into a true masterpiece.
I sincerely respect the contributions of others who make constructive suggestions for post processing enhancements. Yet I think that pursuing technical excellence can sometimes obscure the true beauty of creation.
I would rather view the grandeur of a forest's autumnal foliage than see the imperfection of a misshapen leaf. I think this photograph evokes beauty within an imperfect reality.

Could do all that and improve it. Or, just leave it alone and enjoy the mood. This is art in that it expresses the emotions of the person and evokes emotions in us. For me, that's what its all about.
I meant the photo by George66, not mine! (Mine was included because of the reference to the foliage metaphor I wrote)
Again, Georg66's shot is a classic and the first here I've ever responded to.
Did not change the photo, just treated her dermatology problem. If with noise it would be just an award winner, with smooth skin perhaps 27 out of 28 possible, about as high as you can get... fab shot... fab pose... would work with 1001 different models. This one is the skill of Photographer, not much to do with the model.

Why don't you show us your version pimply skin and all. It is the overall photo that is judged.
