We have a wild turkey that hangs around the farm that we feed. The farm next door has a herd of these small deer. Two of them, a Doe and her fawn, have found a way to escape and come over often for a visit so we feed them too!
I've been trying to get them to eat from my hand. Burt the Turkey is thinking about it. I can get within 2' of him. Baby Deer sometimes thinks about it too. Momma Deer says no way! If anyone knows what kind of deer these are, I'd love to know. I hope you enjoy this story series. I shoot with a CoolPix 5700.
Hey look Mom, there's Burt having breakfast. Do you think he'll share?

Nice series. Its always nice to see how when it comes to food or water, animals can get along just fine together. I often see fox and raccoons together on my trail cams.

They are a lot smaller then Whitetail deer. I've tried googling but can't seem to find what breed these deer are.

Thanks JoJo! I appreciate your comments. We're hoping he finds girlfriend so we can have a turkey family on the farm
