It is meant to analyse STOCK photos.

I put a few of my shots in there. Initial thoughts:

- rather good at tagging shots

- seems to prefer heavily saturated colours to muted shots

- seems to like B&W landscapes more than colour ones.

In this section I commented, a few months ago, that how boring it would be for those of us who enter club competitions if there was a software system to select best shots. Perhaps a crude version will be coming a lot sooner than I thought.

I know that competition judges have their own preferences/dislikes and thus could never be replicated but who knows how far this software could develop.

Ps the software gave the Mona Lisa 0% and it did not think much of Ansel Adams either.

Sounds as though the software is working properly.

One wonders how that recent pricy view of the Rhein would be judged?

I put one of mine through it and it said: chance that this image is awesome 0.0%

1.2% chance of it being awesome (as a stock photo) but 100% chance if it being a very expensive print

Now you have to beat me! Interesting the tags it comes up with. I don't see a tree in any of the examples...

Oh man...I couldn't enjoy my glory for another hour?

I agree, the tags are super interesting. There didn't seem to be a list showing them all; must be quite a collection.

amersfoort, did you see this (a link provided in last Masters' topic):

We need someone to break down the similarities and differences to your software site!

The Everypixel site is intended to analyse Stock photos not to judge competitions but one could imagine a derivative of Everypixel being developed to judge competitions but just how one would add a subjective element to the software is beyond my comprehension. Perhaps there would have to be a number of variants to the software - portrait, creative, landscape etc etc.

One reads almost every day about more jobs being lost to "robotics" perhaps photography judges will be added to the list some day. However, having said that, if it happens that will be the day I stop entering club competitions. But I would probably enter one just to see what feedback one gets from a robotic judge. If the feedback is just 87.2% it would sadden me greatly.

Wow, that's unlike any senior woman I have ever seen. There are obviously some tagging corrections still needed.

No Way
I tried a bunch of images some I thought were pretty good and some I thought were run-of-the-mill. Numbers clustered above 90% and below 10%. There was not much correlation between the numbers given and what I would have given the image.

The keywords are kind of strange in some cases
