I like everything about your thread, very well done throughout.
Your photo is beautifull and if you didn't say so I would have never guessed it to be a composite.

Really nice . I've always found that the strong textures of a beautiful B&W photo to be much more dramatic than a color version of the same scene. Doing composites like this is what I used to do in the dark room but so laborious; with multiple enlargers and registration easel and cutting out dodging and burning masks. Really glad I just found this site.
