I was using a new-to-me lens. Was wondering what things others see that I do not. This is a just one of 140 pictures, but it should work as an example.
Thank you.

Lens: Minolta 28-135; f8; 2/5 sec exposure; ISO 400;

You're about 1/2 F-stop under-exposed.

isn't that the one they used to hang on the back of battleships? i seem to recall seeing 'em parked back on the fantail, with a small crane to lift 'em out of the water...

It is tough lighting in the hanger and the lens presents a dark view. I was constantly underexposing pictures to prevent the object from washing out. Thank you, Bob, for making that correction.
I will try again tomorrow with a few different lens.

Simply set your ISO higher rather than change lenses.

I will try setting ISO a little higher with that lens. Today I wanted learn what this lens sees and how it sees. I another new lens that I want to learn how it sees. I left the room of WWII artifacts for that lens.

I take it you have a Sony. If so, excellent photo. If not, excellent photo. LOL.

I had a scale (radio controlled) F 4 land version. It flew great. Mine burned up in a fire. Your picture makes me sad.
