What a great day it would be when posters could be just a bit more informative in their posting titles.
A few recent examples of how NOT to do it are "Camera," "Newbie," "Raw," and "Help for a friend."
An example of the right way to do it: "Lens for interior architectural work."
Tell us what you want, and you're more likely to get helpful information and less abuse! >Alan

Why?
No, just kidding! This is an excellent point.

Spelling, grammar and syntax would all be helpful, too. And editing after the initial post.

Add "Help" to the list of titles that aren't helpful.

("Need lens suggestion for interior architectural work." is even better!)

If I see a title that only states "Sanibelle Island", I'm going to expect to see images of/from Sanibelle Island, not a question of what to shoot when someone goes there in six months.... "Need suggestions for trip to <place>" would be MUCH more appropriate!
Another ambiguity is using mnemonics that only locals or few others would understand.

If we want to talk about accuracy or informative, it might also be nice if people tried to stay on topic, try to get their advice correct by doing some research, and if expressing a broad spectrum opinion, provide some references to support those opinions. For example when somebody suggests that "This is clearly the best..." that there is some evidence to support that. Or that when somebody says "Canon has no mirror less cameras with a viewfinder" that the statement was not incorrect. It is easy to think ahead and research if people wish to, sadly many do not...

Yes, Canon is way better than Nikon.

Excellent point, and one I've seem made periodically for as long as I've been a member. The worst is in the Classifieds where people put NO description of their item in the title! Just "For Sale" etc.

I am guilty of having verbal diarrhea on someone else's post. When the post has something to do with Florida, birds, fishing, hunting, basically anything I may have experienced I may tell them my experience in the area. Most of the time I catch myself and delete the garbage and leave anything that was requested. I also will end up having conversations with friends that have nothing to do with the OP's question.

I would state that I will never do this rude activity again, but that would be a lie.
