The only flower in my yard so far.
alby
Loc: very eastern pa.
..... you got a good pic of it, now get rid of it before it spreads
Very well focused and great color. Mark, you have the eye that found this alone flower hiding.
Hint: Last time I checked, there was no law against moving the leaves to clear the way for the flower to shine and be whole. I have taken photos of mushrooms laying down and clearing the way with kitchen scissors, cutting the other vegetation away.
Always ask your self what is my story... Mark you stated it well .... my story here is "The only flower in my yard"
Good job on your Dandelion. It appears to be timidly peeking out, not sure whether or not spring is really here.

Thanks. Good suggestion and I could always eat the leaves I trim away. Good for you and tastes spinach.
But it's a very pretty one, Mark, and your shot of it is beautiful!
I've always liked dandelions and couldn't figure out why my dad hated them so. They're so cool in every stage. And they're edible to boot! Nice image.

A well taken photo of a Dandelion.
AzPicLady, your dad got rid of them, as the seed heads when ripe has thousand of seed and if left alone every seed that the plant scatters mean that you have that amount of dandelions and in no time at all the lawn is covered in dandelions. That is OK if you want a dandelion lawn, but not many people do. At present I am busy getting rid of mine before they flower.
Very good capture, Mark, of this lonely flower!
