The D5 and D500 were awesome last year but a little behind in pixel count.

I'm hoping for a camera the will have the features of the D500, the noise of the D5 and a sensor of 40-50 MP.

If it were priced below $3K I'd upgrade in a minute.

What features would ring your bell?

I think you may get your wish with the D820/D850 (or whatever they call it) - although I'm not sure about the "under $3K" part :)

Also, some pretty strong rumors about a D7200 replacement as well.

I think we'll see a new 300 2.8 and some sort of ultra wide zoom (wider than the 14-24).

Should be interesting.

In other words, "Severe G.A.S. attacks in the future."

Seems like a trend for all the camera makers. Didn't change with the market.

There is just no cure for it, only temporary relief.

I am just getting over the 200-500f/5.6 strain, now they are going to hit me with another version that I have not been vaccinated against. Shame on you Nikon.

I wish Nikon would hurry. They aren't running out of time – but I am.

I'd like to see a Df with the sensor, AF system, and processor of the D5.

And they didn't want to start making smartphones.

I just hope they don't release a D760. I'm completely satisfied with the D750, and I don't want to be tempted. I can't think of any feature that would tempt me to buy a new model. What will they call the update after the D790?
