Composition wise it is well done, but the blur kills it for me. I think the wings are ok blurred but the eyes need to be sharp, and for me preferably the bodies of the bird. I was told once to crank the iso up and shoot with a fast shutter speed to stop the action.
I get it and I like it. Swirling motion of the dancers gliding across the floor.

Indeed you do. Thank you.
You could stop the body motion with a fast flash. Wing blur is fine.
Greg ... I love it .. love it ... love it. These two are beautifully framed. The juxtapostion of the two is perfect. The focus on them is plenty to distinguish birds from background. Colours are fabulous. It's a wonderland of colour and motion. I have a chickadee in blur that I just love, but almost everyone nitpicks about the focus. It's okay. I still love it. I would have this printed if I were you.
