Old Man Winter decided to get one last word in here in southeastern PA. I am one of those weird people who actually like all 4 seasons( including, yes, winter). However this winter was particularly gloomy, nothing but grey skies. Not even snow. But 2 days before the spring equinox we had a Nor'easter. this pics were taken out my front window, it was dark but I was trying to capture the snow with fast shutter speed. Both were shot with a 300mm lens and ISO of 1000. the birdhouse is f/6.3, 1/3200 sec and the squirrels nest at f/7.1, 1/1250 sec. I did process them in Lightroom. I have never posted pics to a website, I hope I did that correctly.

Good job on both the shots and also on posting. Sometimes it takes a bit to get the hang of posting. I really do like your snow scenes. Number 1 is a pleasing composition and the pop of red it lovely. The second shot is cool with the snow flakes swirling around.

Nice pictures, but I don't think this will be the last of it, it will be way into June, before we see the last of it!
Yes, I'm sure your winters in Idaho are longer than ours!
