I'm not normally into flowers........BUT......I am into observing light and how it plays on objects, and this just happened to be on flowers. Some of these photos really do have an abstract quality about them.

Thank you Rink. I normally have a thing against "flowers"......I think because I see so many here on the Hog that are just average. I don't really look at these photos as "flowers" per say........I look at them as "a study in light" and the subject just happened to be "flowers".
I will keep shooting but most likely it won't be flowers. Thanks for your encouragement Rink!

Glad to share with you Dan. Thank you for making a comment. I have found that you have to be always ready to capture the light when you see it. I like how you say "nice dance with light and shadows" because that is exactly what I was trying to capture.

Very appealing set of flower images Brent. I enjoyed the download of each one. And I think you may have accidentally discovered a new species of bird in the last shot. But I'm afraid it has a broken neck. Perhaps you should report this to the local Audubon society.
