Males Osprey brings fish to nest in afternoon !
From the nest site I have been monitoring. There is a good sized chick developing on the nest - I think only one. Tomorrow I take my ladder and aerial pod to try to get a shot of the chick ......
Technically, this shot is not that great - had to move very quickly and react in about 1.5 seconds to get this- but the pose and action are good so I post.
Sony A77II and Sigma 100-300, f5.6 1/1250 handheld and moving ! One of those surprised I got anything shots ! Speed matters !

Great capture! There are times when the technical is not as important , if it means missing the shot! I have been there! Beautiful!

Nice shot! They have yet to return to my area and I monitor several nests for Audubon's Osprey Nation,so I'm checking!
