About to embark on a Panama Canal cruise with stops in Cartagena, Columbia, Aruba, Puerto Limon Costa Rica, and the Cayman Islands. Looking for suggestions for which lenses to take. I have the following lenses to chose from: 76-300mm, 10-18mm wide angle, 50mm,18-55mm, 15mm fisheye. Anybody who has done this cruise have any advice on which to take? My initial thinking is the 75-300mm and the 10-18mm wide angle. Trying to keep this to a minimum. BTW they're all Canon and I'll be using a T6i. Thanks.

I did this same trip on Princess last spring. I brought with me my Canon T4i as it is light. My favorite travel lens has became the Tamron 16-300mm. It is a light weight lens and it is terrific plus it is also a Macro lens costs less then $600. It is the best investment I have made for traveling. One lens is all I need so I have no need to carry a camera bag. Would like to make one more suggestion. Do your research of what they have planned for the shore excursions. Then get off the boat and get a cabdriver. BTW this is where you can haggle see who will do it for the price you want. Like in Aruba that was our first stop everyone of the shore excursions I got to see and photograph. We went with another couple so it cost us $100 each. And getting a cab those drives can get you to the best spots for photos. In Cartagena when you get off the ship if you can find this man you will have one of the best. He name is Ball ask for him around the cab stand. He knows everyone and he will walk with you and tell you everything you will need to know about. He has a girl that drives for him so he can send his time talking to you. In Limon I was disappointed not to much to do we did not even get a cab just walked around. Enjoy your cruise and look into that lens I have to admit it now sits on my new 80d and all my Canon lenses sit in my bag.
