My brother just got a new (to him) motorcycle. The original photo was taken in his yard.
I thought I would do a little PP make over and put him and machine in a nicer setting.

Nice make over!
The new scene, is this just west of the turn off to Bryce Canyon NP?
It reminds me of it.

Thanks Pat. You know your locations. I hope to be out there in May.

Hey, good one. That Nomad is a great bike. So's the area you chose for the "other" background. I used to have a Nomad.

Thanks wingpilot. I'm envious. I had a Honda Gold Wing but sold it last year. I now ride a Suzuki 650 Burgman Executive.
I'm nearly 75 and the Suzuki is a lot easier for me to handle now. I do miss the Wing.

Yeah, I hear ya. I rode Wings for 20 years, the last one being an '05 GL1800. My wife also had an 1800. She had 2 650 Burgmans, too. I loved riding the Burgman, and her Exec was a nice one. I liked the Nomad except when towing our Bunkhouse camper. The Nomad was very unhappy doing that, but otherwise was a great bike for riding. I sold my last bike last spring and am no longer riding. I miss it a bit, but quite frankly, motorcycle riding in Alaska is boring and the drivers up here are obnoxious and I didn't feel very safe, so I gave it up after 44 years. I always carried a camera with me on the bike, "just in case" there was a good Kodak moment. Must have been plenty of those, as I have probably 8000 images of motorcycling.

I only had two Wings. One was an 1100 and the one I sold was a 1500. Bought it new in 1988. The first year they came out with the reverse.
It served me well and I never had any major problems with it. It had well over 100,000 miles on it and still ran great when I sold it.

I bought my '05 new, in '05 and sold it in January of 2012 when we moved back to Alaska, with 85,000 miles on the odometer. We rode a lot in Idaho.
