Yeah, I hear ya. I rode Wings for 20 years, the last one being an '05 GL1800. My wife also had an 1800. She had 2 650 Burgmans, too. I loved riding the Burgman, and her Exec was a nice one. I liked the Nomad except when towing our Bunkhouse camper. The Nomad was very unhappy doing that, but otherwise was a great bike for riding. I sold my last bike last spring and am no longer riding. I miss it a bit, but quite frankly, motorcycle riding in Alaska is boring and the drivers up here are obnoxious and I didn't feel very safe, so I gave it up after 44 years. I always carried a camera with me on the bike, "just in case" there was a good Kodak moment. Must have been plenty of those, as I have probably 8000 images of motorcycling.

I only had two Wings. One was an 1100 and the one I sold was a 1500. Bought it new in 1988. The first year they came out with the reverse.
It served me well and I never had any major problems with it. It had well over 100,000 miles on it and still ran great when I sold it.
