I pass by this strange place every day on my way to work that has a lot of neat old vehicles out in it's vast "yard," so decided yesterday to make an early morning trip there to try some HDR shots. I used the 3 bracket shot method and processed in Photomatix Pro 5. Critique welcome. I took shots of 5 different vehicles, but the truck was my favorite. The limo and cop car were fun . . . maybe a little overcooked, but so vintage i couldn't resist! Most of these are compressed for easy upload/download. Not sure if that's a good way to go . . . i haven't posted much before.

I like the look of the HDR photos.
Marylea, these are some of the best and most natural looking HDR photos I've seen.

Thanks very much, Bob! They're certainly not garnering a lot of attention or feedback, but i value what you've said. Thanks again!

You have opened the shadows nicely. In HDR, a little goes a long way.
These are very nice. Since reasonable post processing can take a middle exposed image to something close to the final results, I'm not so sure HDR is needed to accomplish what was done, but the HDR that was done is done well. I don't feel that they are overcooked. Well done, and I am sure it was a fun project to do.

Proves what I have always believed, HDR does not HAVE to be over done. Excellent HDR images - I love the subjects too.

nice work, I like HDR when it does what it was suppose to do and not over cook a photo. you hit it right onthe head....
