Some bluebirds and extras

These are some more test shots from my Nikon 200-500mm. Shot with a D3300. Unfortunately the sun was in my face for all of these. Photo experience tell us to use a flash to brighten the subject, but birds don't care for that or sit still long. So, I just touched them up with the free Nikon software. Also since I was shooting through a window sometimes, a flash would not work. Tell me what you think!

Chris, I love the bright bokeh of your last shot. You were able to bring out the bird's details (and ultra-charming pose) while creating a very eye-catching image.

I wish I could say the brightness was intentional, but it's more like whatever the background was when I hit the shutter is what's captured. Thx!

Beautiful shots! Love the motion you captured, in the wings of the bird, flying away. So much detail in each image. great captures!!

I agree with Linda. The lighting on the last one is excellent.
