Barred Owls

We have a pair of barred Owls living in the park near our home. The Central Ridge Community Park as it is called now as the county has taken it over. The Barred Owls have been in the park since I moved to Florida in 2007. Today a friend of mine and I went down there and at first I did not think we were going to see them. then I wade a short hoot and one came flying right over and landed above. Later we moved and they moved with us.

Simply wonderful photo's of a beautiful subject.....They sure beat the heck out of any Cardinals I get in my area

Great series. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be #3. This is the time of year for them to have babies in the area.

Loved these but the second one is my favorite!!
