I'm Bill, 65 yrs. oldish, a retired elementary teacher, and a USAF veteran (B-52 sparky) from 1970-1974. I bought my 1st. DSLR camera, a Pentax K-3II two weeks ago. I've bought Tony Northrup's DSLR Book, and I'm watching a ton of youtube videos to learn DSLRs as fast as I can. My favorite lens is my HD Pentax-DA1:2.8 35mm Macro Limited. I've attached a pict that I like. Glad to be with this forum!

Nice composition, nice color, the focus could be better but techniques for macro photography are almost a different learning experience.

Welcome to the forum. You and I were in the Air Force together. I was an avionics tech on F-111s.

Pleased to meet you , I take that back if your a spelling cop, heaven knows we have plenty of them here , and they are still trying to teach .
