You are always up late Douglass. Do you ever sleep? Or are you a lot like me? LOL
Haven't seen a ghost mantis in many a year! (I think that is what it is???)

This is not a Ghost Mantis, but I can appreciate the fact that they do resemble each other. This is a stick insect.
The Order for the stick insect is Phasmatodea and the Ghost mantis is Mantodea.
Thanks for viewing the photo.

I like this one the best of the ones I have seen.
And it is still ugly!
I am glad I taught history and geography and not general science or biology.
Looks good in the download.
Excellent photo - I just don't want to meet one.

That is funny. It is the same reason I love science and don't teach history.
thanks for the comment.

I used to have my own darkroom setup and one year in the 70s I taught 5 periods of basic photography because the photo teacher had become a dean and I was the only one who thought they knew enough to teach the basic class (read and researched like a mad man to keep a stream of decent lessons in the pipeline, also the principal changed the class to "The History and Practice of Photography" so my history/geography/social sciences credential would cover it)
But, I have asthma/allergies and the chemical fumes were not my friends. Long live digital and doing the PP in a nice office chair in front of a computer!!!
