Not sure if this is the right "topic" page but I thought I'd start here. I am a photographer and work for a catalog company and I am looking for someone to photograph birds. It's a very specific kind of shooting and we simply don't have the time. Are there any bird photographers out there that would be interested in some work?

There is one fellow that comes to mind his name is Regis he lives in Idaho. Put his name in the search link on this site and see what happens. There's no guarantee.

There are some exceptional bird photographers on the forum. Go look at the birds in flight section and take your pick. Try to contact them using the private message link.

You mention a "very specific kind of shooting" Can you elaborate a little on this? Birds in flight is just one of the many methods of bird photography.

Sorry for being more specific...what I meant was that it is different than shooting product, landscape or people that can stand still. Bird photography takes a ton of time and patience waiting for those little buggers to land on a birdfeeder. It would be shooting birds eating, landing and flying around a products that we sell. It wouldn't be birds in flight. Thank you all for replying, its appreciated :-)

Other questions that should be addressed:

Do you need someone local or will you ship the products/feed/etc to their location for the shoot?
Are you looking for specific bird species/color/size/etc?
What is the time frame?
How is payment calculated?
