New Sony a9 Full Frame Mirrorless

The Sony Alpha a9 high-end E-mount full frame mirrorless camera is rumored to be announced sometime in April, 2017. Here is the link to Sony Rumors for those interested.

These rumors have been going around for quite awhile along with the rumored A7Riii etc.
I am a great proponent of Sony, but to be honest I would be much more excited if they announced some new APS-C e-mount lenses for the A6XXX bodies. They have been neglecting that format in favor of the big expensive FE lenses. As others have pointed out, full frame mirrorless looses its size / weight advantage once you start including the bigger heavier (did I mention expensive) FE lenses. Fortunately 3rd party lens companies like Sigma and Rokinon have been filling in some of the holes being ignored by Sony, but I am starting to get piXXed.
