Photograph. It seems to have been thought out or planned: it is in focus, it seems to be properly exposed, and it has been composed.

snap shot - because the subject / story is vague - there seems no or very little thought put into this in terms of telling us something or showing us something interesting or unique about the boat.

Decent Focus and exposure are to be expected - and every image is composed if only by the limitations of the view finder.

Snapshot.
Many extraneous background items could have been removed with better composition (concrete slab, poles, etc. on the right) The rear light pole might have been hard to remove with composition but could easily be cloned out in PP if necessary.
And a good photographer would have recognized the flat lighting and waited for better light to compose the boat.
Nice subject boat though. But you asked for opinions, and thats mine.

photograph.it expresses lonelyness, or retired. does need some croppingon the right. It would have been a snapshot if the boat was dead center. with some editing this has the potential to be a stronger photograph.

It is a very nicely done Photograph. The subject is clear and interesting. The composition is well done and interesting (e.g. the boat isn't in the middle of the pic). The technical quality (focus, exposure) is good.

For me a snapshot has tourists posed looking into the camera.

Sorry, but snapshot that had potential to be a good photograph. Better composure, editing, lighting, etc.

I see a photograph here that has not been reworked in PP- yes it is not composed well - but - the subject is well chosen - true cropping and composing is needed - but so what - there is so much to work with in PP-well chosen and shot.

I like the boat (A LOT) and the trees in the upper left. The composition doesn't bring my eye into or around the picture. More than a snap shot but not enough that I can find an interesting composition by cropping. I can tell you saw a story and had the heart to try to tell it to us. Thank you.

I think it's far from a snapshot but since I'm not a professional that must mean very little. I think you told a story in regards to the title and what's in the shot. The lighting/contrast could be a bit better but the fosus, color and composition are fine. When we start removing everything that isn't perfect in a shot what happens to the reality part of the shot?? Is it perfect, no but I certainly wouldn't throw it in the garbage. The lighting can be fixed in PP (Picasa is PP) and can help what is lacking in the shot. Just my opinion...........
