I'll try this again as my 1st photo didn't upload. Rock river in northern Illinois, north of Rockford. Newly back into phography, this was taken last year and one of my first attempts at using lightroom. Would welcome all comments (good and bad) as this is the only way for me to learn what i'm doing wrong or right. Thanks for looking.

A very nice, tranquil scene. Looking at it in detail, I think the exposure is a bit on the hot side, as there are quite a few blown out areas in both clouds and water.

Thanks Bob, I'll keep an eye open for things like that in the future.

I would crop off the left side to remove the distracting tree trunk in the corner.

Using a filter in a case like this may have been helpful in eliminating the blown out water. I agree with cropping for the tree trunk, but like the composition.

Didn't have a filter at the time, however, I've purchased several for my different lenses. Next time. Thanks, Ken

When using a filter like that, you should avoid spaces like that (were the trees are covered by it too)!
