Welcome! You are living the dream I have... Transplanting from Vermont to Florida, but I have a few more years of work to look forward to before retiring to the warmth of the south! I travel to Florida regularly for work and ALWAYS take a camera with me, as there are so many great places for photo opportunities. Enjoy your safaris and be safe. I look forward to seeing your pictures.
Welcome to our forum!
It's too bad you moved. You just missed about two feet of snow. :D
Welcome! Looking forward to your posts and pictures. Happy shooting!
Well, I guess it's a given that we don't bother tellin' ya anything so's you don't take our secrets to the grave with ya.
Welcome from another newbie.
Welcome to the Forum Bill.
Welcome to UHH. You are among many octogenarians! Have fun.

Hi..............My name is Bill. After living most of my adult life in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in up state NY, I now live in the flat lands of Florida. My dad was a professional photographer during the 1930's and 40's so I did sort of grow up in a studio. Back then it was strictly black and white and the only editing tool was the skill of the photographer. I have enjoyed taking pictures over the years but now am planning some photo safaris around the state. I love nature so tend to spend most of my energy attempting to capture mother nature at her best. Thanks for allowing me this opportunity to join your group!

Welcome to the UHH, I'm 77!
Welcome to UHH, Bill. I am 82 tomorrow and have been shooting 35mm and digital since I got an Argus C3 for a high school graduation gift (with a little medium format experience in the interim). You are never too old to enjoy photography and a new venue is always an adventure. If you haven't tried it, consider some macro experimentation. Again, Welcome!
