Several of these trees were at a dined I visited near Dallas today. Color so vivid they almost looked artificial.

Looks like an eastern Red Bud Tree, one of the first to bloom in early spring, but this year is been very unusual.

Agree. Our Redbuds (Cercis Canadensis) are in full bloom this week here in NC although we're expecting some small amounts of snow here in the Piedmont tonight (and 8" in the mountains). I believe the cultivar I have here is Pansy Red.

Our redbuds have already finished blooming. These are more vibrant than any I've seen.

Pansy Redbuds have nearly red leaves.... we had 2... one got crushed with super storm sandy
