This is my first Kingfisher in flight. I usually can't even get them perched. I caught this one out of the corner of my eye coming from behind me. Not my best photos, but my best Kingfisher.
I have yet to get even a perched Kingfisher in my FOV much larger than a focus square... Great job catching one in flight There is even with a little catch light in the eyes

They are tough to capture. It was pure luck that I saw him coming in time to get the shots.
They are SO elusive! Took me 2 years of stalking to get a not so great shot of him perched, but I'm not giving up. :)

Nicely captured. These little speed demons are hard to catch. Well done.
Great captures, especially #2. IMHO, if you crop a fraction of negative space on the left it will provide you a rule of thirds position to have the image portray a space and direction where he is going rather than have it appear to be just placed in the center. I expect that would better show the worthy result of your effort.
