Nicely done, Bob! I enjoyed very much.

It snowed here yesterday, and outside Yakima city limits there is still much snow on the ground (might as well be in Maine, lol). I'll be anticipating those signs of spring soon, though

Thanks for visiting, Linda! This entire winter, we have only had a couple of dustings of snow...this in an area that had the one of the World Series baseball game "called" due to snow when I first moved up here! Hope you have an opportunity to get outside for some eaglet shots soon!

Nice.... We have had Daffodils blooming for weeks now. Birds a singing too. No images though. Saw my first butterflies of the year while out with the dog... BTW, I lived in Maryland from 1956 thru 1992, originally from Wisconsin. I lived in and around Baltimore though. Lived in Reisterstown prior to getting transferred to Georgia by my work.

Glad you dropped by, Scott! You keep on moving southward...find your proper zone yet? I am about twenty miles southeast of Reisterstown. I worked in Baltimore but I am not sorry to be out of there...the "big town" life never much appealed to me and my family!

Wonderful set Bob and I so enjoyed all your spring colors and feathered friends!!
Only one crocus I spotted today, but I did bring some forsythia branches into the house and forced them to open, but they don't look anywhere as beautiful as yours!!
Thanks for sharing your Maryland spring!!
Wonderful set Bob and I so enjoyed all your spring... (show quote)

Yours can't be far behind! Glad you dropped in, Angela and I appreciate your comments!

It looks like spring has arrived in Maryland, Bob, and what a beautiful display of birds and blooms! I love all of these and especially the frilly daffodil. Our azaleas have already bloomed and dropped from the shrubs. Very strange weather this year.

Our temperatures over the last week have swung from 14 degrees to the mid seventies. Thanks for viewing my post and for taking the time to add your remarks!

I assume that you are aware that Ellicott City suffered severe damage from the "flood of the century" rains last year? I surely appreciate your visit and remarks!

As much as I detest cold weather I do envy the seasonal changes you guys get to enjoy. They are gorgeous images Bob and they instill in me a feeling of what you guys must get an enormous delight from. Spring has sprung!!

John, I guess we all like to think that the weather some place else would be nice. I guess this is what allows travel agencies to exist. Your warm remarks are much appreciated!

Have a nice day!

Bob, love the photos. You have a perfect window into the nature around your home. Thanks for being the friend you are.

Thanks, Greg! Your photos have certainly impressed since you added those two "L" lenses! I keep wondering if you have tried the 1.4 extender with the 200mm lens, particularly since your back porch blind is fairly close-range.

Hope you enjoy the remainder of the week!

Nice Set, Bob...!!! You are soooo right about our weather here in Maryland. I am dying for Spring to fully break through. I just added a Canon 70-200mm F/4L to my kit and am really ready to put thru the paces..!!!

I am pleased that you have added the 70-200 to your arsenal! I have it, and it is the lens I chose to shoot my granddaughter's wedding. It has the spectacular glass that the f/2.8 IS has with way less weight to carry around. With the broad range it has, it is truly the "walk-around" lens. I believe that you will be very pleased with your choice!

Let us enjoy your results! Thanks for your visit and comments!

Bob, I will be giving it another go later this week. I will make reference to the lens it in the title.
