Put an order in today for a manufacturer refurbished Nikon D610. Due to be delivered next Tuesday. I will still use my other DX format cameras for macro & distance shots with my teles, but this will take my wide angle & normal lenses now. My mirrorless will still be my go to with adapters for all of my older MF lenses from ,other than Nikon, manufacturers.

do they give you new box for refurbished camera?
Uh, good to know, I think; maybe; keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. Just thought you'd be interested, I just recently picked up a new 5D IV. Even though I'm in PA, bought it in Delaware, no sales tax and only a short drive from home.
It came with the new 24-105 f/4L II lens. Nice lens, for a kit lens. Of course I'll still use my 6D for more sedentary subjects, and my 5DSR, for both macro and telephoto. If the need for 10 fps arises, I can go crop frame with either my D500 or my 7D II. Of course if 10 fps isn't fast enough, I can do single image captures with the 5D IV at 30 fps 4K video. Pretty frickin' cool...

I recently bought a refurbished 80D from Canon, for my daughter. It came in a new box. Nice camera; spotless, low shutter count and works perfect. I bought my 80D the day they hit the streets in the USA. Had I waited I could have gotten a nice one just like the one I got for my daughter, and saved around $300.

So whilst I'm sorta happy for you I do find it strange you go to the bother of sharing this inconsequential bit of information with a bunch of total strangers most of whom do not give a toss and are likely to be a tad sarcastic. My friend, I did try and get interested and excited but its a big zilch I'm afraid. Hope you appreciate my efforts NOT to be sarcastic.

For many GAS is contagious and some want to share.

I had heard there were many sad people in this world just did not know how many of 'em hung out here! Contagious gas and the joy of sharing huh.
