My granddaughter, now seven, took a liking to my Samsung NX10. She spent a half hour taking stills and movies of her sister and announced that I should get her one now that she knows how to use it. Does anyone know of a camera with similar functions to the NX10 in the lass than $100 cost range. She also announced that it had to have a viewfinder.

The samsung NX10 is a DSLR. What lens did it have on it? There is an NX10 with an 18-55mm zoom on ebay, used for $250. I don't think you can get a used dslr and lens for $100 anywhere.

Interesting she wants a viewfinder at that age! I thought all kids that age were into touch LCDs.

Consider a used camera on eBay.

Thanks all. I am looking at Sony and Olympus superzooms that seem to have video, viewfinders and low cost. She is very familiar with touch as she has been using iPads for several years and did have a "kiddie" digital camera.

While the Samsung NX10 has DSLR styling, it's actually a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (MILC) with an APS-C sensor.
Interesting camera though, about the same size as the Panasonic Lumix G2, which has micro 4/3rds sensor.
Too bad they didn't include a phone in it!
