Captivating photo

Its been awhile since I posted.. I took this today and something about this photo is so captivating to me I just love how it came out! Wanted to see if others thought so too.

Every time I see a leaf on some rocks, I shoot it. Just something about it that says 'take my picture.' So I agree - it's captivating. Nice work on your capture, ripple.

Please take my comments in the way they are intended- as helpful suggestions and just my opinion. The overall idea is great, but could be dramatically improved in a few ways. The use of a polariser would cut down on the distracting glare. Since the comp has a main subject of the leaf, it might be better to have a more contrasting color. The comp would be more interesting perhaps if the leaf was pointing to one of the corners and not dead centered in the photo.
