Can anyone tell me how to do this? I've had no luck googling, although I'm sure I saw an article about it a few months ago. I need to do it to complete an album. I posted about this yesterday but couldn't find my post so I apologize if this is a repeat. I'd also like to post a photo of what I'm talking about (fat spilling out of the back of a dress) but I've never been able to get a photo to post on this site, despite the advice I've been given about it. ????
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbCCN0xtD7oIt is the "liquify" filter. You'll need about five minutes of practice in selecting the correct brush size and determining how to make the selection. It's actually pretty easy after a couple of times. It works for double chins, upper arms etc. as well.
That's for CS5, Prairie. Is there any option for Elements 9 or 10? Thanks for jumping in though.

Aha! Now that I know what it's called - ie liquefy and not melt - I'm finding lots on google. Thanks so much, PrairieSeasons!

Loc: Easton, PA but will travel for photos
Aaahhhh. If only I could do this on myself ... For real. Body lift. LOL
I think you can achieve what yor looking for in P.S cs5, use the liquife brush, but START with a small brush, and zoom in on what you are working on by at least 200%, and remember every click is an action in P.S that you can undo, hope this helps.
Too small a brush usually leaves undesirable smears. A bigger but softer brush leaves less evidence that you used this filter.
good info...
for you GIMP users, it's Filters/Distorts/IWarp

In Elements 9 (and probably PSE10) it is Filters>Distort>Liquify
I have trouble posting pictures on here too. I found out that the secret is to log off of UHH. Then open a new instance of UHH by typing uglyhedgehog.com in the URL and then log on again. Then you should be able to post an image. The manager of this site keeps saying to use the Compatibility Mode but that doesn't do $hit. You only need to do this once per session so the next day you will likely have to do it again if you try to post an image.

Try checking the "store original" box. You photos do need to be jpegs to post.
Liquify may not be the only choice in PSE to do what you want. It would really help if you showed us.
I `m sure there is a clip on "youtube" showing how it is done.
Hope this helps
By George I think you've got it, jeep_daddy!! I hardly ever just type the url. I'm always just clicking on the link in my email. Hmmmmm. Ok, let me try this. I'm going to post three of the troublesome images. I only want to do minimal liquefy editing on these to slim her back since there are a LOT to fix for her album.
Well, it doesn't look like it worked either. Grrrrr. I did watch the video and will be trying it later today. Amazing technology!!

Oh, it did work after all. Thanks again jeep_daddy. If anyone knows this couple please do NOT tell them I posted these for advice. Thanks.
Not brilliant - took about 5 mins using liquify folled by a small dose cloning where I messed up the top of the dress and the blue material. (This is the first time I have attempted the Liquify tool).
After Liquify
