More Harpers Ferry in the snow

I took these back in 2006. My wife and I are frequent visitors to HF. We were staying at the now closed Hilltop House hotel. We made the trip for the specific reason it was going to snow. We were not disappointed. I had posted some others recently and finally found these in my files. That's our Subaru in front of the hotel.

Beautiful images. Being from Kansas (once home of John Brown) I'd love to visit Harper's Ferry for the history and beauty of the area. Great Job...

My grandfather had his watch repair shop there until he died in 1940. The family home was on the Maryland side of the bridge in Sandy Hook.

I hiked there in the Summer of probably 1996. Winter sure changes things. Being native Southern Californian snow scenes always impress me. Nice series.
