Thanks, yes I know! Living on the edge!! :) Would an ND filter have helped with exposure? It was mid day, and super bright. I know my Aperture was set at 2.8 on the first shot, but even the others I took, after increasing my aperture, lowering my ISO and increasing my shutter speed, were still overexposed. I was disappointed. Wish I could work with PS to add some blue sky back to my pictures, but unfortunately, that will come after I master my camera first. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Yes, I do have favorite places to go for pictures. But, I also like discovering new places too. The tracks were a first for me. Probably a last, everyone has scared me from this one. LOL But seriously, I don't know if I have ever seen a train on that track? And I go by there all the time. But, I know it is a working track, and it only takes once, so I guess I will mark that location off my list!

They look blown out. Maybe there is more in the raw file to tweak?
Looks like you were too far for on-camera fill for that using HSS anyway.
If you had put them in eh building's shadow and had a softbox, that might have been enough to use the strobe/strobes as a main light. Sometimes one won't be enough, especially if you are using some sort of diffusion (umbrella/softbox)
If you had someone with a reflector to kick light back at them standing just inside the shade of the building, that might have worked too.

Thanks, that is what I need. Constructive criticism!. I do have raw files and I will try and work on them. These are all from jpeg files. I shot both. I only have PS for raw images, not sure if there is a simpler software out there for raw images. PS is complicated. For now anyway. I don't have the kind of time it takes to teach myself. But, I can do a few basic things in it. I have learned, that if I am going to do this as a profession, I will need lots more gear, and possibly an assistant. Again, thanks for the tips!
