Saved 2 baby rabbits from my pool today. Unfortunately a third didn't make. Photo of one of the lucky ones. The other hopped away to eat the flowers in my garden.
Not the best shot but I was exhausted from the "mouth to mouth"

So cute! I'm sorry for the third one!
I was always rescuing critters from my in ground pool. I made it a habit to check out the window many times a day. Sometimes I got them and sometimes I didn't. But felt great when I did. Squirrels, birds, frogs, mice and occasionally my shih zu who weights 10 pounds. :)
I used to get baby rabbits every year, but it has been a while. I hate to see them drown even if they do eat all of my flowers

Maybe floating a few wide boards with carpet on them that are attached to the pool sides will help them get out if they chose to go swimming. That way you don't need to be life guard all day every day.
That's similar to what I had to do when a family of mallards got in the pool. The babies couldn't get out so I used a plank of wood to create a ramp.
Hey Wabbit...I know where you can get some good mouth to mouth!!!
