Greetings everyone! Just returned from a 3 week motorcycle ride to Belize and didn't take any of my equipment. Took a Nikon D90 with an 18-55 mm lens and still didn't use it that much. Used my cell phone mostly cause I was too busy surviving those terrible roads. Giving up the hobby and thought I'd give you guys first crack at what I have. I'm nearby in Dallas, Ga & I'd be interested, but prices are out of my budget.... I've been looking at refurb FX Nikons lately...

Your prices are almost as high as the Nikon's current listings for refurbished.

Backpacks are still available. The D750 sells tomorrow. I'll consider lowing my prices soon. I'm open to offers but I'm not gonna give the stuff away.

I went online and checked to see how much I paid since the selling prices weren't listed on the paperwork I received. I reduced my prices a little and started from there. I sometimes wonder if those who want to see lower prices would attempt to haggle with Nikon or Cameta or even Canon as you decide to purchase your next piece of equipment? I doubt it very seriously. We look for refurbished items that are just as good and items in top notch condition on this website, craigslist, ebay or other sources.

Haggling not necessary. Just wait for a sale! Also, websites like B&H get around the Nikon requirements for selling price by adding extras to the camera or lens purchase. And that is true most of the time, even when Nikon has given the go-ahead for a large discount...

So...... over time then, you might sell them. But you don't/can't offer anything near what Adorama or B&H have available, even in refurbed. With high prices, most will(and understandably so) Go elsewhere.. Many garage sales end up with so much of the "OVER-PRICED-STUFF". Staying home that day. It's mostly nikon, right? Let it go.....

The places you mention offer some sort of warranty even on used items unless marked "bargain or as is". You can't offer warranty at all.
If you really want to see used market values look on ebay for SOLD items that match yours.
I own a D750 and would never pay 1500 for a used one from some guy. Just saying.

Would like more info on the canon backpack or whatever back pack you have left, pics and a price would be great. I have a nice bag but need a back pack to be able to take the camera on an occasional bike ride.
