This is wrong in every way! I can't believe we've come to this.
Despite the obvious controversy, this is a case of doping. No different from Lance. If all the girls were boosting their testosterone the outcome would be different. This just isn't fair on so many levels...

Then contact your state representatives.
Here's a thought...when you step out of the shower, look in the mirror. If you still can't tell, call yo mama.
This is a complicated problem because Beggs was allowed to use performance enhancing drugs and the other wrestlers were not. Beggs was obviously a very good wrestler. Never having seen Beggs wrestle, I cannot judge how good Beggs is.
I coached wrestling at the high school, college and international levels and have never seen a situation like this. The situation seems to be about performance enhancing drugs as much as gender identity.
If the powers that be, ie the UIL in Texas, allowed wrestlers to choose their gender, a group of males could all claim that they wanted to be females, they would likely win the team title for their particular state. Males are faster and stronger than females. I of course realize that I could not outrun a female world class sprinter but if we look at world records, we find that men have run faster, jumped higher and farther and lifted more weight than women.
Men competing against women would not be fair to the women. What is the solution to this problem?
The solution is common sense. I doubt there is such a thing anymore.

Sometimes I think that common sense has been replaced by PC.

Since Texas considers this person a girl, would he also use the girls' restrooms and showers?

And that is a HUGE part of the overall problem!
