I have been visiting two sites 15 miles away trying to get shots of these owls over the winter months.Iv lost count of the times they have not appeared or they have and the light has gone or just not come near enough. All very frustrating and then I get an afternoon like yesterday and everything drops into place. No pain no gain
Worth every moment of effort. The Just beautiful captures. Can you share your equipment and settings?

Excellent captures Bigal.
Great shots Bigal - very impressive!
Very nice shots. Look a lot like the Barred Owl. Love the one of him/her flying at the the camera.

Well, unlike my similar efforts to capture wildlife. You didn't blow it. I have experienced the same frustrations as you, but when my moment finally came about then I, blew it, with poor exposures. Great shots.

Very good shots. The owl is the hardest bird to find in my area , I never see one .
