I can relate, 18 months ago I had a stroke affecting my left side, to date I have no use of my left arm and am in a wheelchair. One thing that helped me was getting a shoulder mount made by cowboy studios, I paid $25 on amazon. I was lucky (?) in that it wasnt my right hand. Think about getting a remote shutter release that you could Velcro to the left side of the camera. Good luck and never give up on your recovery, I know I still show improvement, however slight, after 18 months. Just remember that even the tiniest victory is still a victory.
