How About A Photograph Of Your Mug?

No not the facial one but the one you have to start your day.
Why is this important? Because you probably would want
a photograph of it in case something happened to it.
That way you might even be able to replace it.

I think you will like this.
An older man was a Walmart greeter and kept showing up 10-15 minutes late for work. A young supervisor was fed up with it and talked to him about it. He asked the greeter if he had a job before working at Walmart. He said yes. So the supervisor asked what happened when he came in late for work. The greeter said, everyone stood up and saluted me and one person would ask "Would you like a cup of coffee Admiral?"

A friend of mine was a boatswain's mate in the Navy during WWII and he was in the North Atlantic during a Winter storm. He had been on the bridge
for a long time and someone brought him a steaming cup of coffee. He took a swig and his cold teeth cracked. As he let out a howl from the pain
he flung the mug over the side. I don't think he would ever want a picture of that mug.

It's a cute story but totally not true unless maybe if he had false teeth , but he was not that old in that time frame .

Since you did not know him as I did he was never the kind of person who would spin any sea stories.
Unless you have withstood the cold on the deck of a ship in the North Sea during Winter
you have no idea of what cold is. I have seen it where the crew had to use axes to remove the ice
so the ship would not capsize.

I was a dental assistant in the Army; several of the soldiers got dentures during my tour.

It's total hog wash his teeth were in his mouth ,therefore they are not frozen , they would the same temp as his tung almost ,and hot coffee would not have any more of an effect as drinking it in your own home would have , and I have been a deck hand on a halibut boat and we chipped ice of the rigging a few times , it was cold but no one's teeth froze up ,but it was my last trip on winter halibut,
