I've been photographing flowers for a long time. At some point merely recording descriptive or documentary images of flowers stopped being of any interest and instead I started viewing flowers as Form, Light, Texture, and Color.
No clue what others think and honestly, I'm not sure what I think about this and other images that seemed to find a home on my camera. I just know I had fun creating these - and as always when working from a state of beginner's mind or Wu wei - when I got out of the way the flowers danced for me.
Nikon D200 Nikon 200mm F4 Micro lens; tripod; F4; 3-4 frames in-camera multiple exposure; processed in Photoshop.

These, to me, are true art. Applause! I would not hesitate to hang these in my office. Wish they were mine. Can't say it any more than, love them. Bravo.

these shots grow on me. at first i did not care for them, but the more I looked the more they drew me in, the pastel colors, the diffused lighting the almost silk like look to them, I give em a perfect 10. there is a sense of tranquility about them.

Love the uniqueness of these, not just another flower photo!
I heartily agree...beautiful work...very dream-like and impressionistic. Definitely my cup o' tea!
Lovely---just lovely---------------------
