Hi guys and gals,
I'm new here and since I start my photography program next week at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), I thought I better start posting some pics and prepare myself for some critiquing. I'm primarily a landscape photographer (and I use that term loosely!), so I know that I need to start branching out into other areas of photography. Here are a few photos from my recent trip around the Med. The few that I'm posting here are from the Adriatic Sea leg. I can post more from other areas later. All photos are mine and have had just basic touchups in Lightroom and my signature added in Photoshop (mainly because, that is all I know how to do so far). The photos were all taken with my Sony a99 dSLT with a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks everyone!

Trippin: You have a great eye for photography. Obviously you have given a lot of thought in your shots. Should be postcards.
Beautiful shots. Keep your eyes sharp and take many photos. Not all are keepers, but that "one" will stand out. So much fun. Wish I had learned more at a younger age. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome, beautiful shots esp #1 #4 #7, Bob.
Thank you so much for the kind remarks. I'm learning so much but still have such a long way to go!

Nice pics. You certainly seemed like you enjoyed yourself. I was in Dubrovnik back in 1967 or 68 for a few days. Courtesy of Uncle Sam - U.S. Navy. Fantastic place.
Very nice photos. Good composition, color, and exposure. Keep it up. Even though you presented these as "I was there", to me they are very artistic, a huge difference.
Donald, Great images. You are off to a wonderful start.
