This came up in another thread, so I thought I'd post the question here. How many tripods do you have? It seems that there is always a tripod that is a little better than what I already have, so I have more than I need, but I don't want to get rid of any. Aside from a couple of oldies that I keep but seldom use, I have a big, heavy Vanguard Tracker 4, a small MeFoto for traveling, and two medium tripods. I also have two or three GorillaPods and a collection of small desktop tripods. I'm sure I'm on the low end of tripod ownership, but I hope I can resist buying more.
I'm not even getting into tripod heads and accessories.

I have several sizes that I have picked up over the years as well. I haven't gotten rid of them as I find them much more useful as flash head stands when working outdoors. The standard light stand doesn't conform to uneven terrain very well, and sometimes not at all. So it is good to have those tripods that can be placed in awkward places.
They are also used to hold tablets, triggering control boxes, laser triggers, and Camranger units as well.

I have two. A shaky one that I bought about 60 years ago and a pretty good carbon fiber one that I bought 12 years ago. The carbon fiber tripod holds one of my cameras. The shaky one holds an off-camera speedlight when I need it. If I had a couple more tripods I could hold more speedlights.

A big lightweight (4.1 lb) carbon for the 600mm F4, and a smaller 2.4 lightweight tripod for backpacking and travel - 2 ball heads, one Gimbal.
Oh, I almost forgot - a 225 lb 9 ft tall Cambo monopod (studio camera stand, actually) does that count?

I have 4. The first was a $29.00 special that I used for a camcorder. The second was a metal monster given to me by a friend, I never use it, too old and heavy and not smooth. Also have a Mephoto . I recently bought a small tripod for 75 cents in a flea market.
My plan was to take it apart and mount the head on a Frisby and use it when I need to place the camera on the ground. I haven't gotten to it yet. I've also seen people mount heads to frying pans, but that is a lot of Extra weight to carry around.
After 30+ years with a pair of Bogens (3021 h& 3258), I switched to two Nest carbon fibers three years ago, an NT364CT and the NT6324CT.
My old Bogens are now serving time in my rental inventory and still work as well as they did brand new.

One good tripod and a cheap spare.
A full size Gitzo and a travel size Benro take care of my needs very well. Also (almost forgot) a very ancient Star D that I used with a 4X5 view camera years ago - if anyone wants that one they can have it for the cost of postage!
