The reason I would suggest is that photography can give you many things. First are vivid memories. Second I would say a reason to go out and doing a variety of things, either in a group, or by yourself (your choice). Last, a mental challenge where you can try to outsmart whatever nature or technology throws up as an obstacle when you are going for that perfect shot. Go for it!

Welcome! My grandchildren are my favorite subjects, although the 5 year old has started putting her hand up and stating "no pictures!" So the granny paparazzi turns the camera to the 2 year old and the 4 month old, so far they cooperate...reluctantly however!
