Here are a few I took last weekend. I would be interested in feed back on the B&W vs Sepia vibes.
I like them ... like old timey photos! The sepia enhances this effect. Try including people some time for a sense of scale. If you saw the beginning and end of the move - The Last Picture Show - there are stark scenes of wind blowing past abandoned buildings. Was this the effect you wanted?
It was a Sunday afternoon, the station was closed so there wasn't any one around. Shooting people makes me nervous, they always have expectations of looking like movie stars and I just can't edit that well. :)
I was trying for an "abandoned places" sort of feel. Or perhaps a "City on the Edge of Forever" kind of thing. 1930's Urban decay.
If they are far enough away they will not care and that is what makes them a good scale.
