Piriform Recuva is one of the best, I have used it and there is a free version.

There were just yesterday and today a bunch of responses with tips. The OP posted. HELP, I lost my photos.

Did you do a low level format?

I use the free version and it works well IF you don't rewrite a bunch of data over it before you use recuva.

I wound up buying CardRecovery. It worked great. I was able to retrieve what I needed and everything else on the card. Thanks all.

I have used "CardRecovery" with really great success... Not only my images that somehow went "corrupt" and or "missing"... But my son's and a friend as well. I think I paid about 45.00 for it. WELL worth the expense. And I get free Up-Dates as well.

I would really consider this product.
