For Your Consideration

Edits other than the addition of Billy Bob teeth or a Groucho mustachio and glasses are welcome.

I find the alcoholic shakes die down just before lunch making slow shutter speeds possible. Midday top ups see the return of the stumbling and the shaking for which I am famous in these parts. Very glad you did not get tempted by the Billy Bob teeth look. Thanks for viewing fella.

Nice candid portrait Billy, well done on the conversion and I like that you didn't grunge him up unduly, he is fine as he is. If he wanted a copy for his modeling portfolio, you might clean him up a bit, but for a candid, you got him good, shiny eyes, gentle smile and all. The background is a little pocked but there's good separation and I actually like the texture it creates (sometimes that doesn't work but it did this time).

You've gone for a fairly tight crop Billy, probably to reduce the slightly distracting background - I would crop even tighter and lose the top of his hat plus a bit off the bottom to just below his chin. It a lovely shot with a really happy feel about it - how's that for FYCism then?

The guy was easy to work on min the background such as it is took 2 hours. It was trees with light spilling through. Thank you for calling.

To lose the top of his hat is a good idea but an invite for FYCism along the lines of "I wish I could see the top of his hat" cos of course we all know the top of baseball caps are sooooo interesting. And your not even trying wiv ya FYCism ya have to ask me a dumb question maybe about what I felt when I took the shot or even discuss the mood of this complete stranger? I expect a chap of your caliber to do much better next time.
Keep safe Dave and thank you for dropping by. Good to banter with someone else who does not take life or themselves too seriously. We are in a minority here but keep at it, we can but hope they can become converted.

Well, you did ask . My initial intention was to lighten the eye area a bit but I ended up making the overall lighting a bit less harsh. And the area round the eyes is a bit brighter .

When I opened your comment waiting for the picture to load I had a vision of the Billy Bob teeth look carefully added lol. But a nice edit R.G. so thank you my friend.
