My suggestion is Cotton Carrier. I use their vest. As your camera collections grows you can add a second camera.

No neck or back strain. You will love it. How do I know? I own it and use it.

The Cotton Carrier vest is excellent; very convenient, comfortable and secure. Great for hiking. Only downside is that is a bit of a hassle to use with a tripod as it requires removal of the screw that attaches it to the holster. I only use the vest if I am not taking my tripod.

OpTech, BlackRapid, Really Right Stuff and probably a dozen other good solutions are available. Depends on your needs and budget. I use BlackRapid with RSS plates and push button military grade quick release.

Best,
Todd Ferguson

Think Tank makes several good holsters with an expandable bottom for longer lenses.

I have Cotton Carrier, which is very good. Built like a tank! I use it for carrying FF set up. For hiking/backpacking, I really like the Peak Design stuff.

Check it out https://www.peakdesign.com/

Ive used all of the above. But the best I've found to use was the Spiderpro.
By far way better than anything I have ever used.

I use my cotton carrier with a tripod. Cotton Carrier sells an arca swill adapter plate so you can use both.

I also use a SpiderPro Holster/belt system and all of their other gear as well. I have found it to be the best and most comfortable way to carry camera and gear. Every other system I've bought, or tried, doesn't even come close in comparison IMO.

Cotton Carrier or Chinese equivalent from Amazon. I've had both, Cotton Carrier is the best but expensive. Chinese coy would work well with your camera and lens.

I use the cotton carrier holster with a few mods. I have the black rapid strap. I had a d ring added to the strap in front on the strap. I connect the lead to the d ring and to the strap mount on the camera instead of the hub on the bottom. My lead strap is 18" long. I added a grommet to the top corner of the cotton carrier holster and connect my black rapid connector to that loop/grommet. With this setup, It spreads the weight on my shoulder and my waist. I carry a Nikon D4 which is very heavy without any problem. When I want to carry 2 cameras I connect the second camera lead to the d ring and wear a second holster on the other side. Very simple and functional and easy to use with the tripod, simply attach to tripod and disconnect the lead strap connector. PM me with questions.

Peak Design has a clip that can be used on either your back pack or belt. I don't have one, but am very pleased with other Peak Design products I'm using.
