A touch dark for me Mr Spad…..overall a nice image. I notice some banding or double exposure trees left and haloing trees tight not sure if those are the proper terms.

I was thinking you were sick or traveling, haven't seen a post from you in a month or so. The picture's B&W look and texture is spot on in my opinion. Something on the right looks like it is a car and might want to take it out. I took your picture into photoshop and used the Transform tool to see if I could get it straightened and it worked well with several adjustments. I know with your knowledge of Photoshop you could do the same if you wanted but this is how I believe you wanted to present it. All in all it is a picture of something many of us have never seen and well done.

Not print quality my man by good enough for FYC. The darkness and the lack of straightening was on purpose. A pikcha of a spooky church rather than a fota.
Thank you for dropping by.

I took a good look and then read the posts. I had figured that you did not want it straight. I would not want it straight either. The car on the side does not bother me at all. I noticed that you have areas that are black and areas that are nearly completely white. This is how I like to portray B&W photos, sorry....pikchas. That gives this image a complete range of tones and I find it quite pleasing. A tad spooky; but that is not a bad look for a church. Nice image.

I was gone for a while, and when I came back you were gone. I was about to PM and see if you were OK when you surfaced again.
I like this photo with one exception. The sky needs something sinister, but this one is just blotches and, IMO, demeans the overall mood.

I use Silver Efex and the bit on the bottom left to check that I have some black and white in fotas. Thanks for dropping by Erich.

Nah I was not gone my ol' mate just seeing how the forum would cope without me. The commenting got a bit sugary so I thought I had better come back and inject a bit of truth into the place lol. There is just no relaxing when you are the voice of truth and reason. Its a hard path I tread my man.
Sky was what God gave me and I was not over keen on it but dropping a new one in with all those trees was not really an option

Glad to see you back here Billy, but then perhaps I'm a bit masochistic!
This time however I can't say I love the pic. Sought of see what you're after but it's not done to Billy standard - witness your own comment in reply to a response, 'apart from that damn car'. Now, if Billy wanted to make a job of this this car would have gone long since, and the pp would be rather different I feel. Course, I'm not a fan of churches - and most seem to like it!

I do of course realize you have an aversion to to all things church like and would rather worship Lucifer dancing naked around a fire in the woods sacrificing goats and deflowering virgins! I know how difficult life has been for you since they fenced off Stonehenge.
By the way its a new Billy here sensitive at all times to the feelings of others. Well it sounded good when I wrote it. Thank you for the welcome home Dave.

This almost puts the fear of God in one's soul. Somewhat spooky looking church and really nice composition. The bright cloud really assists in outlining the top of the church. Nice work, Billy.
